About Me

UI/UX was introduced to me back when I was working as an electrical engineering intern at SRI International. I loved the many opportunities, to explore the different type of work available, given to me at my time there. It was so nice to work with the design tools that I had previously never seen before. While working with these design tools it occured to me that I enjoyed that part of the job way more than any other part. Because of this I went searching for something that could fulfill both, the design aspect, as well as use my problem solving skills. This is what led me to discover UI/UX. Being able to craft these visually engaging experiences while also solving user’s issues made me realize that I made the right decision.

Being born and raised in Philadelphia, I have always been drawn to city life. I could’ve very easily gone to a different university that has a more “traditional” college experience, but Drexel offered everything I could ever want. It’s close to home, offers hands-on experience, incredible academics, and of course that same old city life I love so much. I am specifically, very grateful towards the Drexel co-op program which let me explore different career paths which ultimately led me to UI/UX.

Outside of my work, some of my favorite hobbies include: video games, movies, and books. Gaming specifically has always been my favorite pastime and not just for the fun of it either. Many games also have creative and well designed UI/UX which in turn fuels my passion even further. Seeing many of the creative decisions behind my favorite video games’ is always so inspiring to me.

The hour of fate is approaching

This game's mature story is amazing, but its UI/UX is what constantly inspires me. It perfectly translates the game's dark, stylish themes into every single menu and fluid interaction.
